29 grainy texture brushes with built-in shading, highlighting, and color-shifting behaviors.
Grain that actually works like traditional media. Shaders that darken when you layer. Highlighters that lighten when you build up. Duet brushes that shift between your primary and secondary colors. All with that organic, tactile grain texture. Available in both mono line (consistent width) and pressure sensitive variants.

How the Brushes Work
Standard Grain Brushes
Grainy texture in a range of densities, from fine and subtle to bold and pronounced. Draw normally and the grain comes through in every stroke.
Shader Brushes
Layer strokes on the same layer and the grain marks darken automatically. Good for building shadows and depth without manually picking darker colors.
Highlighter Brushes
The opposite of shaders. Layer strokes and the grain marks lighten. Good for building up highlights and creating luminous effects.
Duet Brushes
Strokes shift automatically between your primary and secondary colors. Set two colors and the brush does the mixing, adding natural variation to your grain.
Mono Line vs Pressure Sensitive
Each brush type comes in two variants. Mono line gives you consistent stroke width regardless of pressure. Pressure sensitive responds to your touch for variable line weight.
Who This Is For
Artists who want textured, grainy strokes with smart color behavior built in. Good for illustration, editorial work, backgrounds, typography, or anywhere you want organic texture without the digital smoothness. The shader and highlighter behaviors save time when building up values.
What You Need
- Procreate app
- iPad (any size)
- Apple Pencil (recommended for pressure sensitive brushes)
Why These Are Different
I'm a working illustrator. I built these brushes to add grain while also handling some of the tedious color work automatically. Instead of constantly sampling darker or lighter shades, the shaders and highlighters do that for you. The textures come from real traditional media in my studio.
When the tools are smart, you can focus on the drawing.
The Fine Print
This is a digital product. Instant download, nothing ships. Brushes are for Procreate on iPad only (they won't work in Photoshop or other apps). Purchases can't be refunded.
