About

Digital brushes made by a working illustrator

Hi, I'm Esther Nariyoshi

I'm a published illustrator based in the United States whose work draws from three distinct cultures I've had the privilege of living in. That multicultural lens shapes everything I make — including these brushes.

I started building Professional Digital Brushes because I was frustrated. I couldn't find digital tools that actually behaved like the traditional media I'd spent years mastering — colored pencils that had real tooth, oil pastels with genuine bleed, crayons that felt waxy and imperfect in the right ways. So I made my own.

What began as a personal toolkit eventually became this shop. Today, Professional Digital Brushes is my way of giving other illustrators and animators the tools I wish had existed when I was starting out.

Published Illustrator

The art you see here isn't stock — it's mine. My illustrations have been featured in Uppercase Magazine and shaped by three cultures I've lived in, which is why every brush I make feels genuinely hand-crafted.
