How the Color Behaviors Work
Standard
Natural texture brushes that behave like traditional media. Fineliners, colored pencils, crayons, oil pastels, paint brushes, and grains. Straightforward, reliable, realistic.
Shader
Builds darker with each pass on the same layer. Layer strokes without lifting your pencil and the color deepens automatically. Good for building shadows and depth without manually picking darker colors.
Tilt Shader
Responds to your Apple Pencil angle. Tilt more and the stroke gets darker. Draw upright and it stays lighter. Natural shading with hand movement, the way you'd shade with a real pencil.
Highlighter
The opposite of shader. Builds lighter with each pass. Layer strokes and the color lifts. Good for adding highlights without switching colors or layers.
Internal Texture
Rich texture inside each stroke. Works especially well with crayons and grains. Adds depth and visual interest to fills.
Color Shifts
Each stroke automatically varies in brightness and saturation. Creates organic variation without manually adjusting anything. Makes flat areas feel more alive.
Dual Colors
Blends your primary and secondary color within each stroke. Set two colors and the brush does the mixing. No smudge tool needed.

The textures come from real traditional media in my studio. The color behaviors come from years of figuring out what actually speeds up my process.
