Oil pastels are one of those mediums that feel immediately expressive — waxy, saturated, a little unpredictable. They blend beautifully but they also have drag and texture and a certain resistance that makes every stroke feel deliberate. This set brings all of that into Procreate.
31 brushes. Real oil pastel textures. Pressure and tilt sensitivity that actually responds the way you'd expect. And blending that works without any smudgy fingers.
This is Vol. 2 — a deeper, more expansive collection built on what I learned making the first set. More variety, more nuance, more ways to push a piece from flat to finished.
Now with full Apple Pencil Pro support, including Barrel Roll.
Instant download. Use them within minutes of purchase.
What's in the Set (31 Brushes)
Blending & Smooth Coverage
→ Smooth Blend Brushes Seamless gradients and soft transitions. Great for backgrounds, skies, and anywhere you want color to flow naturally from one tone to the next.
→ Soft Velvety Brushes A matte, atmospheric quality. These sit closer to the chalky end of oil pastel and are ideal for building mood and softness without harsh edges.
→ Gradient & Overlay Brushes Broad sweeping coverage with a realistic pastel finish. Good for laying in large areas quickly or adding textured overlays on top of finished work.
Texture & Character
→ Rough Edge Brushes Bold, expressive strokes with that characteristic oil pastel drag. These are the ones you reach for when you want a piece to feel alive and loose.
→ Gritty & Grainy Brushes Adds the grit you'd get from pressing a pastel into rough paper. Rich, physical, full of texture.
→ Scratchy & Imperfect Brushes Uneven marks that mimic the natural imperfection of traditional pastel work. Great for adding character and keeping things from looking too digital.
→ Streaky & Dynamic Brushes Built-in movement. Each stroke has energy — ideal for expressive illustrations and anything with a sense of motion.
Detail & Precision
→ Fine Detail Brushes Precise strokes for intricate areas, thin lines, and delicate touches without losing the pastel quality.
→ Pressure-Sensitive Brushes Vary your pressure and the stroke changes with you — light and airy or heavy and saturated, all in the same brush.
→ Highlight & Light Touch Brushes Designed for subtle detail and soft highlights. Low pressure, delicate marks, no color picking required.
Depth & Layering
→ Layered Stroke Brushes Build dimension naturally. These are designed to be stacked — each pass adds depth without muddying the color underneath.
→ Spotlight Brushes Concentrated coverage that builds intensity as you layer. Good for focal points and areas where you want the eye to land.

Why These Feel Different
I'm a working illustrator. These brushes started with real oil pastels from my studio — scanned, tested, and refined until they had the weight and texture of the actual medium. Vol. 2 came from me pushing further: more brush types, more range, more of what I actually needed when using these in my own client work.
When the tools are right, you stop thinking about the technology and just draw.
